Then with transparent images- PNG or GIF- I do not get the problem above, but sometimes it works beautifully and other times it doesn't. When it doesn't work, it fills the background with some color in the current slide, either the foreground or part of the background that's not near the current position of the image. Also, sometimes MagicPoint thinks white is transparent, when it's supposed to be opaque. If you like, I can put a tar.gz of a talk which fails in all of these ways on the web. Thanks, -Adam P.
