Using 'save message_number file' removes the message if the mailbox
is spool, but not if one runs 'mail -f file', which seems inconsistant.
Also the man page doesn't explain this under the save command,
but does say so in under the copy command:
copy (co) The copy command does the same thing that save does, except
that it does not mark the messages it is used on for deletion
when you quit.
