xmms hangs after the first track stops playing. This is a chronic problem
that seems to be unaffected by choice of input or output plugins. The hang
happens either when the end of the track is reached, or when the 'pause'
or 'stop' control is activated. Even the font selection dialog through the
options menu will hang up at this point.

Well, I sure can't reproduce this. I hope the upstream maintainer, who I'm

Hi,
your bug may or may not be related to Bug#136788, can you apply the
attached patch and try to reproduce the bug?
If the problem goes away, the bugs can be merged. Otherwise I'd say,
it can be closed, since there is not enough information in it to
reproduce (Maybe the submitter can provide the exact setup where this
happens?).
Since xmms seems to work for quite some people, it seems to be a
spurious problem.
Cheers,
Michael

Hi,
your bug may or may not be related to Bug#136788, can you apply the
attached patch and try to reproduce the bug?
If the problem goes away, the bugs can be merged. Otherwise I'd say,
it can be closed, since there is not enough information in it to
reproduce (Maybe the submitter can provide the exact setup where this
happens?).
Since xmms seems to work for quite some people, it seems to be a
spurious problem.
Cheers,
Michael
