I work whith wmaker normally with the window menu allways open and
situated at bottom of the screen (as recommended in the manual as some kind
of task bar) but sometimes unespectlly it scrolls in the screen as usual but
did not receive any mouse clicks, at this moment if mouse is situated
outside this menu wmaker shouts down to wdm.
(in this cases i've found a nasty trick when this happen i swich to a
console and send a 11 signal using kill command to raise the signal 11 error
handler and reestart wmaker. I hope this trick could be useful for other
users)

It scrolls into the desktop all by itself or do you have to point at it
with the mouse? There's a piece of information missing here because I
can't reproduce this. I put the window menu at the corner, drag it
outside the desktop in such a way that only its title is visible, point
at it with the mouse and do nothing else, and, as expected, nothing
else happens.
TIA,

Sure.
You need to compile wmaker locally, as the packaged version doesn't
contain enough information to produce a backtrace. It's really easy.
First you need a deb-src line in your apt sources, something like this:
deb-src http://http.us.debian.org/debian unstable main
(pick a mirror close to you)
Then:
$ apt-get source wmaker
$ cd wmaker-0.65.1 # or whatever the current version is)
as root:
$ apt-get install build-essential fakeroot
$ apt-get builddep wmaker
This will install everything needed to compile wmaker on your machine.
After that, as non-root edit debian/changelog and change the first line
to look like:
wmaker (0.65.1-1.0.1) unstable; urgency=low
(1.0.1 usualy means "binary only upload", you have to do this to
prevent apt from reinstalling the "official" version -- there's another
method, but it has non-local effects). Now run:
$ dpkg-buildpakcage -rfakeroot -B -uc
after a while you'll have a wmaker package in ..
With this installed now you can use gdb to get a backtrace from a core
dump (if wmaker is leaving a coredump behind). You could also switch
to a console (don't do this from within an x-terminal!) and attach gdb
to the wmaker process:
$ pidof WindowMaker
[some pid]
$ gdb /usr/bin/WindowMaker
gdb> attach [some pid]
gdb> cont
when WindowMaker crashes you'll see a message on the terminal where gdb
is running, and you can do this:
gdb> bt
which will produce a backtrace and tell you what WindowMaker was doing
when it crashed. You can mail that output to 108432@bugs.debian.org.
If you've got a coredump you can do:
$ gdb -x bt /usr/bin/WindowMaker /path/to/the/core
TIA.
