Bug#84731; Package knews. debian-bugs-dist@lists.debian.orgChristophe Le Bars Subject: Bug#84731: Knews doesn't update display properly in very long threads Reply-To: Remco Blaakmeer , 84731@bugs.debian.org Resent-From: Remco Blaakmeer Orignal-Sender: Remco Blaakmeer Resent-To: debian-bugs-dist@lists.debian.org Resent-CC: Christophe Le Bars Resent-Date: Sat, 03 Feb 2001 19:03:41 GMT Resent-Message-ID: Resent-Sender: owner@bugs.debian.org X-Debian-PR-Message: report 84731 X-Debian-PR-Package: knews X-Debian-PR-Keywords: X-Loop: owner@bugs.debian.org Received: via spool by bugs@bugs.debian.org id=B.9812254796616 (code B ref -1); Sat, 03 Feb 2001 19:03:41 GMT Date: Sat, 3 Feb 2001 19:37:56 +0100 (CET) From: Remco Blaakmeer X-Sender: remco@qn-195-66-31-144.quicknet.nl To: Debian Bug System Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: Remco Blaakmeer Delivered-To: submit@bugs.debian.org Package: knews Version: 1.0b.1-2.1 If there are many messages in a thread (more than about 1000 or so, I don't know the exact number), knews does not properly update the display of the thread tree. If I switch to another desktop (with WindowMaker as windowmanager) and back to the desktop that contains knews, the thread tree display is empty. After pressing the "Back" button and pressing "View thread" again, the display is back. Scrolling in the thread tree also doesn't work. This only applies to very long threads (or perhaps very deep threads, I don't know), with short threads everything is fine.
