When links is displaying a page, the user must hold down shift to
use the mouse for cut-&-paste with gpm.  This is documented.
However, if the `OS shell' command is used, shift is still needed
to cut-&-paste from the shell.  This is not documented; it is
unexpected behavior and should be unnecessary.
