(nothing will refresh until i ctrl-alt-F1 to a console and come back. and using 3d (with tuxracer) locks the system. It has been suggested to me to get glide.sourceforge.net's latest CVS source because a X developer for redhat told me that the glide package needs to be at least past mid-May 2001 for the banshee to work with X4.1.0.
