Hello,
Are you still experiencing this bug in xserver-xfree86 4.1.0-11?
Does it happen with a regular server startup if you use debconf to
configure the X server?
If the problem does persist, mail this bug with the following:
1) /var/log/XFree86.0.log
2) /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
If I don't hear back from you within 30 days, I will close this bug.

Delivered-To: 107729@bugs.debian.org
Package: xserver-xfree86
Version: 4.1.0-16
Followup-For: Bug #107729
Earlier I thought that it was just mozilla 0.9.8 - 0.9.9 what was causing
problems, but at this time I hadn't it running ... so it might be
server's fault. Errors had been always those Signal 11's.
Too bad when X reminds too much Windows - I can't trust it at all to
keeping on running.

Delivered-To: 107729@bugs.debian.org
Package: xserver-xfree86
Version: 4.1.0-16
Followup-For: Bug #107729
Earlier I thought that it was just mozilla 0.9.8 - 0.9.9 what was causing
problems, but at this time I hadn't it running ... so it might be
server's fault. Errors had been always those Signal 11's.
Too bad when X reminds too much Windows - I can't trust it at all to
keeping on running.

Strange; I too have a Voodoo3, and it never SEGV's on me.
It's too bad when users blame me for problems I can't reproduce and
expect me to fix them.

My X crashes way too much, I have moved to use console nowdays, and use
X only when absolutely necessary.
With WordPerfect 8 it was up about two hours, when most of the time
I was away from keyboard.
Error Code 4 was quite new for me ...
StarOffice 5.1 keeps running averagely few minutes before it crashes X.

Delivered-To: 107729@bugs.debian.org
Package: xserver-xfree86
Version: 4.1.0-16
Followup-For: Bug #107729
My X crashes way too much, I have moved to use console nowdays, and use
X only when absolutely necessary.
With WordPerfect 8 it was up about two hours, when most of the time
I was away from keyboard.
Error Code 4 was quite new for me ...
StarOffice 5.1 keeps running averagely few minutes before it crashes X.
