The way I look at it now, this wishlist bug can: - be closed, - be kept open if the default behaviour can be to accomodate both neatly, I no longer feel this is necessary though, - be kept open if it seems advantageous to have a simpler way to access DOS files. (Possibly a default mode?) I don't think DOS files are *that* common anymore though - this wishlist bug might as well be closed.
