I feel fte should have an option (if not a "fixed feature") to
automatically handle CR-LF newlines from DOS text files. This is
important for the few unlucky people that still program with Borland
tools for DOS (or windows ? - that would mean support for CR
newlines...)

Sorry,
Just discovered how configurable fte actually is, when one starts
playing with the config file. The way I look at it now, this wishlist
bug can:
- be closed,
- be kept open if the default behaviour can be to accomodate both
neatly, I no longer feel this is necessary though,
- be kept open if it seems advantageous to have a simpler way to access
DOS files. (Possibly a default mode?)
I don't think DOS files are *that* common anymore though - this wishlist
bug might as well be closed.
