I can't find a configuration file to enable that default, so I guess it's a compile-time option. Is there some reason that option isn't used in the Debian package? (Yes, I know about the -4 option to kinit, but would like for a script I run to work on woody machines with krb5 and potato machines with kerberos4kth, the latter of which doesn't work with -4.)
