The transparency is filled with the X root window. Quick dirty hack: I used xteddy -F to display correctly By the way this enables placing images on certain positions which should be also be enabled in the %image command. (Or did I overread something in the doc?) Kind regards and thanks for maintaining mgp Andreas. -- System Information Debian Release: 2.2 Kernel Version: Linux wr-linux02 2.2.17 #1 Mit Sep 13 07:35:49 CEST 2000 i686 unknown Versions of the packages mgp depends on: ii freetype2 1.3.1-1 The FREE TrueType Font Engine, shared librar ii giflib3g 3.0-5.2 shared library for GIF images (runtime lib) ii libc6 2.1.3-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries and Timezone ii libpng2 1.0.5-1 PNG library - runtime ii vflib2 2.25.1-4 Vector Font Library for Japanese Character C ii xlib6g 3.3.6-10 shared libraries required by X clients libungif3g Not installed or no info ii zlib1g 1.1.3-5 compression library - runtime ^^^ (Provides virtual package libz1) perl Not installed or no info ii perl-5.005 5.005.03-7.1 Larry Wall's Practical Extracting and Report ^^^ (Provides virtual package perl5)
