As the scrollback buffer fills, upward pages in less become slower and
slower.  Paging downwards works fine.  The more data in the buffer,
the slower it gets, until it can take over a second to page backwards
once.

I tested it out in wterm, with the same size of buffer, full, and it
had no problems.
