Opened gnotepad+,
logged out of GNOME with "save settings",
restarted X,
gnotepad+ starts up with four files open:
 --sm-config-prefix
  (a blank)
 --sm-client-id
 1184a2e767000093879988400000172790006

This may be a session-manager thing, or it may be borkageness in gnp+'s
parsing of the command line.

gnome-session is version 1.0.41-0.1
