As far as I can see, you tried to scale a compound by using the "MOVE POINTs" button? You're right, this doesn't scale the arc correct, but it also doesn't work for other objects in a compound very well. If you want to _scale_ a compound, you should use the "SCALE objects" button, which works correct for arcs. But I will forward your wish to the upstream author, maybe he makes "MOVE POINTs" more reliable for compound objects. I received the following bug report, which notes problems with the "MOVE POINTs" tool on compound objects. Scaling a compound object with the "SCALE objects" tool works correct, but when trying to scale or "stretch" a compound object with the "MOVE POINTs" tool, strange things happen to some of the objects in the compound.
