xfig cannot scale (breaking aspect ratio) arcs
I made an arc.
I put it on a compound object.
I edited the object modifiing one point.
The arc was not scaled. The points were scaled.
I think the problem is that the arc is defined by three points and should be def
ined by a center, radius, starting angle and ending angle.

As far as I can see, you tried to scale a compound by using the "MOVE
POINTs" button? You're right, this doesn't scale the arc correct, but
it also doesn't work for other objects in a compound very well.
If you want to _scale_ a compound, you should use the "SCALE objects"
button, which works correct for arcs.
But I will forward your wish to the upstream author, maybe he makes
"MOVE POINTs" more reliable for compound objects.

Hi Brian!
I received the following bug report, which notes problems with the
"MOVE POINTs" tool on compound objects. Scaling a compound object
with the "SCALE objects" tool works correct, but when trying to scale
or "stretch" a compound object with the "MOVE POINTs" tool, strange
things happen to some of the objects in the compound.
Ciao
Roland
