Besides renaming packages which are not ment for tasksel, a hierarchical selection would probably be helpful as well. Especially if the user could select all tasks of a category by selecting the category, without even having looked at all the tasks the category contains. Example: o at the beginning: science o fully expanded: science |- physics |- mathematics | |- analysis | `- statistics `- biology One could select mathematics without expanding the tree further. IMHO this would make tasksel more useable for both first-time users and the more advanced ones. ciao, 2ri --=20 "Never" is almost always earlier than you think. --nFreZHaLTZJo0R7j Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iEYEARECAAYFAjoyjogACgkQNgpsykSg/Li7ZQCgkDuvRj6ypmR7uAGjEuScsUMC QUYAn162CAmFP9hT4fB4wQaUQMrvbBg6 =ID4H -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nFreZHaLTZJo0R7j--
