X-Mailer: bug 3.1.7
Package: libggi-target-svgalib
Version: 990413-3
As you can see from ldd /usr/lib/ggi/display/svgalib.so:
libggi.so.2 => /usr/lib/libggi.so.2 (0x4000d000)
libgii.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgii.so.0 (0x40017000)
libgg.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgg.so.0 (0x4001d000)
libvga.so.1 => /usr/lib/libvga.so.1 (0x40021000)
^^^^^^^^^^^
libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x40029000)
libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x4011f000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x2aaaa000)
However, if you're also using svgalib1-libggi2, you'll get a catch-22
situation!
svgalib.so needs to be linked against libvga.so.1.standalone

But libvga.so.1.standalone doesn't exist unless you've got
svgalib1-libggi2 installed! If libvga is the ggi svgalib wrapper,
and the svgalib target is chosen for display, this will be detected,
and you get an error message. I'm not sure if there's any way to make
it work in this case, because you'd have to have two versions of libvga,
with duplicate symbol names, loaded into the same process.
In the case where you run a libggi program on the console, but you also
want to be able to run svgalib programs under X, yes, that probably
should be made to work. I'll take a look at this sometime.
