This is normal. You have to reload the song for XMMS to reload the ID3...
maybe this could be changed? I'm not sure but it seems that there must be a
reason why this isn't done automatically...

If I change the file info using the "File Inf." option from the "Misc Opts."
menu in the playlist, it doesn't update the entry in the playlist when I
hit "Save".
