Subject: gs-aladdin: gs and pdf2ps do not render images in pdf very well

Images in pdf files are not rendered very well by gs. Using xpdf or
pdftops gives much nicer greyscales.

And they look ugly with pdf2ps. Some light greyscale tones become
almost black.
