If you have $PATH like mine (./:/home/$HOME/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/games), binary-indep phase will fail when it tries to launch program "install" in order to install some dirs to debian/ but there is already install binary that was just built in the current dir that of course doesn't work in the same way as /usr/bin/install does. Maybe debian/rules should somehow check that "./" isn't in $PATH and alter it if necessary. I know no-one should have "./" in $PATH at all, but my 2nd machine isn't networked at all so I don't have to be afraid of any trojans so I tend to have "./" in my $PATH. That saves many keystorkes a day :) Actially I'm probably the only person in the world who can encounter this bug so I'm not quite sure if this needs to be fixed at all. I really don't understand how having a broken, insecure PATH configuration is a severe bug with ucspi-tcp-src. With a configuration like that, you've got much bigger problems than ucspi-tcp-src not building. Cheers!
