I read in the dhclient.conf man page that I can request a longer lease time.
This is exactly what I need, but when I add the command to dhclient.conf, I
get:
/etc/dhclient.conf line 1: no option named requested-lease-time

It is quite likely that I am simply doing something wrong, but I cannot find
anything wrong based on the documentation (how about that /usr/doc?).

I'm closing this bug because the v2 DHCP package has been removed from

I'm closing this bug because the v2 DHCP package has been removed from
Debian. The dhcp-client package has been taken over by the v3 DHCP
package to aid in transition. If you believe this bug is indeed
applicable to dhcp3-client, please reopen it and reassign it to
dhcp3-client.

Bcc:
X-Mailer: bug 3.1.7
Package: dhcp-client-beta
Version: 2.0b1pl6-0.1
I read in the dhclient.conf man page that I can request a longer lease time.
This is exactly what I need, but when I add the command to dhclient.conf, I
get:
/etc/dhclient.conf line 1: no option named requested-lease-time
send requested-lease-time 36000;
^
It is quite likely that I am simply doing something wrong, but I cannot find
anything wrong based on the documentation (how about that /usr/doc?).
