Example: The just uploaded hello-debstd had this: -rw-r--r-- root/root 790 Feb 15 13:22 1997 usr/doc/hello-debstd/README -rw-r--r-- root/root 1463 Feb 15 13:22 1997 usr/doc/hello-debstd/NEWS and the debstd command line was this: debstd ChangeLog README NEWS debian/BUGS.Debian Note: README and NEWS were not patched at all. I removed that feature again due to problems when copying files. Time stamps might be kept when you use the docs file. I might be able to do some stuff with chmod chown cp -p, true.
