vrweb dies with "Virtual memory exceeded in `new'" error message.
this has happened with every vrml world i have tried to load,
including the samples on the vrweb home pages and the examples in
/usr/doc/vrweb/examples. It happens when executed from the command line
as well as when launched automatically from Netscape.

Virtual memory exceeded in `new'
This behavious occurs on a Cyrix 686/P166 with 96MB memory and also on a
Cyrix 686/P120 with 32MB both running Linux 2.0.29 with the Cyrix patches
(VSPM disabled). I haven't yet tested it on a 486 or Pentium...I don't
think that CPU or mem size makes any difference.
