Package: ncftp
Version: 2.4.2-1

If I run "ncftp ftp://ftp.debian.org/pub/", ncftp log into the ftp server,
displays all the login info, and then locks up and refuses keyboard input.
It only responds to ctrl-c, as far as I can see. If I have it go to
ftp://ftp.debian.org/pub/debian/ instead, there are no problems.

I just reproduced it on:

1. debian linux system running ncftp 2.4.2-1
2. slackware system converted to redhat, running ncftp 2.4.2
3. another debian system running ncftp 2.4.2-1
4. master.debian.org
5. debian.novare.net
6. another debian system running ncftp 2.4.2-1
7. slackware system running ncftp 2.3.0
It's a little different on this system: it displays most of the login
banner, and then when I type any commands, it says RUNNING on the status
line, but nothing ever gets displayed in the main area above the atatus line, 
no matter what I do.

Also, the bug does not happen on any of these systems if I run ncftp in line
mode. It only seems to happen in visual mode.

I observed that typing Ctrl-C gives you an *interrupt* message and a blank
screen with a status-line only, and then everything proceeds normally.

Does that give a clue to someone?
