The actual shared library dependencies are these:

  $ ldd fvwm95-2
  	  libXpm.so.4 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4.7
  	  libXext.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.so.6.1
  	  libX11.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6.1
  	  libc.so.5 => /lib/libc.so.5.4.20

The xpm library comes from the xpm4.7 package:

  $ dpkg --search /usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4.7
  xpm4.7: /usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4.7

However, the above dependencies for fvwm95 do not include xpm4.7.

(Needless to say, I only discovered this because I had not loaded
xpm4.7 the first time around.)

Also, I think the first dependency should be "xlib6".

  $ dpkg --search /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6.1
  xlib6: /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6.1

I see no updated version of fvwm95 in rex-updates at ftp.debian.org
