Netscape now installs to /usr/local/netscape/netscape. /usr/doc/netscape/copyright points to ../../lib/netscape/LICENSE whereas the actual location is /usr/local/netscape/LICENSE. If you rerun the installation without purging the package, lots of files get backed-up by Netscape's installer to *.old. These files are not removed after the install (IMHO another bug in netscape's installer). On a purge, none of the files are being deleted (and certainly none of the .old files are) as the prerm deletes /usr/lib/netscape. I don't know how you handle plugins, but it may not be possible to simply rm -r the netscape directory on a remove or even a purge if plugins go there too (AFAIK they do, but I don't use any :-) Thanks.
