Also, it seems that during the make process, the DEFS= line in the Makefile should include -DUSE_SIGCHLD. This is certainly necessary for the alpha. After some investigation, I find that the orig.tar.gz file on master.debian.org was dated 2-Dec-1996, and thus matches the upload of release -36. The md5sum does match the .changes and .dsc files for that release. When I uploaded -37, I uploaded the original source again, but although the size was the same, the md5sum was different (new version of gzip, perhaps? It's hard to tell, what with dpkg-source unpacking and repacking archives every 15 seconds). Apparently, that new copy did not get placed in the source/admin directory. Release -38 was just a diff.gz, and so the md5sum (calculated on my machine, of course) still doesn't match the old orig.tar.gz. I've put my copy of the orig.tar.gz file (which matches the md5sum in the .dsc files) in my personal directory on master, and I'll send a message to Guy asking him to move it. > Also, it seems that during the make process, the DEFS= line in the > Makefile should include -DUSE_SIGCHLD. I don't think it will make into rex, though. Steve Greenland -- The Mole - I think, therefore I scream "Where are we going?!" "PLANET 10!!" "When are we leaving?!" "REAL SOON!!" [_Buckaroo_Banzai_]
