Hi Guy, Recently I upgraded lot of packages than I had problem with umounting /usr. Using fuser -m /usr to see why, it always showed -bash as being the one that was causing it. When I do fuser -km /usr, the login screen comes up. So I downgrade bash_2.0-3_i386.deb to bash_1.14.7-2.deb. Now I can get the /usr to umount just fine.
