Subject: man-db: man -a does not display multiple man pages in same directory
Package: man-db
Version: 2.3.10-33
man -a does not display multiple man pages in the same directory. For
example, I have two lsearch man pages in /usr/man/man3
manpages: /usr/man/man3/lsearch.3.gz
tcl76-dev: /usr/man/man3/lsearch.3tcl
When I type "man -a lsearch", only the first man page shows up. The
second page is not displayed.
Multiple man pages do show up when the man pages are in separate
directories.

I couldn't reproduce the problem:
$ man -a lsearch
Reformatting lsearch(3), please wait... [show page]
--Man-- next: lsearch(3tcl) [ view (return) | skip (Ctrl-D) | quit (Ctrl-C) ]
Reformatting lsearch(3tcl), please wait... [show page]
I have:
groff Version: 1.10-2
libc5 Version: 5.4.23-2
libdb1 Version: 1.85.4-3
bash Version: 1.14.7-2
man-db Version: 2.3.10-33
but even after an upgrade to
bash Version: 2.0-2
both the manpages are correctly displayed.
I have the same situation, with one page compressed and the tcl one not
compressed (which should be a bug by itself :-)
I tryed with and without the catpages, and with only one catpage.
Sorry, I can't reproduce this behaviour.
Can you please rebuild the indexes and try again?
Thanx,
Fabrizio
